Amid this, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput fans have also started an initiative for the COVID-19 affected people on behalf of the star and his sister Shweta Singh Kirti hailed them for the same. She took to her Instagram account to share details about the initiative called, SSR COVID connect team where the SSRians have released a hotline number for the needy. Shweta wrote, ‘What a great initiative by SSRians, please feel free to call the hotline no., whoever needs help with the COVID situation. May the divine blessings be upon us #SSRCovidConnect‘. Happy with the noble gesture, the ‘Kedarnath’ actor’s fans said that even he would have done the same if he was alive. One of the many commented, ‘If SSR was here he would have been on it all the time trying to help people’ while the other one wrote, ‘If sush was here, he would have helped the same way. We miss him. We want him back! We so much love him’. Meanwhile, most recently, the late actor’s contribution to cinema was recognized at the Oscars, who kept his name in the Memoriam gallery. Sushant’s picture along with his name and profession was mentioned in it. Sushant’s brother-in-law took to Twitter to even thank the people behind making this possible. For the unversed, Sushant Singh Rajput left for his heavenly abode on June 14, 2020, after reportedly hanging himself at his apartment. An FIR was lodged after his demise and an investigation is still in process. Fans of the actor are still waiting for a closure report from the federal agencies.
