4:31 PM, First state title of 2020 goes to … Crenshaw Christian. The Cougars rallied in the second half at Montgomery’s Cramton Bowl to defeat Abbeville Christian 40-20 for the AISA Class A crown. Coach Wayne Grant won his 6th title overall. Read about the win here.
2:18 PM, Coaching changes: There were two coaching changes announced in the past 24 hours. Jamie Riggs, who has won 316 games, stepped down at Houston Academy and was replaced by Eddie Brundidge. Kyle Davis was relieved of his duties at West End after seven seasons.
