I do not understand how Christians can vote for President Donald Trump in this election. In Berks County, of those who identify themselves as religious (48.4% of the population) almost the same total (48%) claim to practice some form of Christian faith, according to BestPlaces.com. Yet based on the proliferation of Trump/Pence signs here, it appears that a significant number of these so-called Christians intend to vote for Trump.
After suffering though his first four years as president, ample evidence exists that Trump is a liar, racist, adulterer, bigot, narcissist, tax cheater, bully, name-caller, misogynist, and supreme egotist. As such, he represents anything but Christian values.
Since Christ himself emphasized that people who follow his teachings should not be a hypocrite (Matthew 6: 1-6), I offer a suggestion for those handing out “I voted” stickers at polling places. How about giving each so-called Christian who votes for Trump an “I am a hypocrite” sticker?
